Spicy Raw Chocolate Milk
A few weeks ago I teased you on Instagram and Facebook with a super yummy, mega-delicious and uber good for you cinnamon chocolate milk. And for weeks you have asked and asked for the recipe and I have finally been able to scribbled down the ingredients, take some photos and share the love with you all.
This drink is a wonderful, natural energy booster. Raw cacao is filled with iron, magnesium, dietary fiber, calcium, zinc, potassium and antioxidants. It releases your feel-good hormones, which keep you happy and energetic, plus it is absolutely yummy!!
Adding cinnamon helps slow down the absorption of sugar into the blood stream so there is no spike and crash in your energy levels and I sweeten it with 100% pure maple syrup – nature’s gift to us all!
You may be asking yourself why raw cacao – why can’t I just use cocoa powder. Here’s why:

Spicy Raw Chocolate Milk
Serves 2

2 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup raw cacao
½ heaping teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup pure maple syrup
dash of Himalayan sea salt
ice (optional)
Put all the ingredients in your blender and mix until smooth and delicious! Pour over ice cubes and enjoy.
